Tyreke Evans expected to be out 6-to-8 weeks after knee surgery

New Orleans Pelicans guard Tyreke Evans is expected to be out six to eight weeks after undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his right knee on Tuesday for the second time since May, Alvin Gentry told reporters on Wednesday.

If Evans takes the full eight weeks to fully recover, he would not return until early December. If it takes six weeks, Evans would likely miss the first 14 games before returning around Nov. 23.
