The Nets looked sloppy at both ends in their preseason opener Monday night, a 101-96 loss to Turkish power Fenerbahce Ulker in front of 6,857 — about 5,000 of whom seemed to be rooting for Fenerbahce — at Barclays Center.
The Nets turned the ball over 19 times and allowed their opponents to go 11-for-21 from behind the 3-point arc as they showed they have plenty of kinks to work out before the regular season begins Oct. 28 against the Bulls.
