Celtics roll over Olimpia Milano in preseason opener

There was little that didn’t go the Boston Celtics’ way in their preseason opener, a 124-91 win over Olimpia Milano in Milan.

Leading the way was Isaiah Thomas, who proved once again he is among the best non-starters in the NBA. The runner-up for the league’s Sixth Man of the Year award last season, Thomas led the Celtics with 18 points.

David Lee, acquired via trade from Golden State in the offseason, had a solid debut for Boston with 13 points and 7 rebounds in 21 minutes.
