Former University of Utah center Jason Washburn will sign with the Charlotte Hornets for the training camp.
Washburn spent four seasons as a Ute and left two years ago with career averages of 8.7 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game; he played professionally in Belgium last season.
