An NBA source told the Observer late Tuesday that Tyler Hansbrough has agreed to terms with the Hornets on a free-agent contract.
In six NBA seasons since starring for North Carolina, Hansbrough has averaged 7.2 points and 4.5 rebounds per game. His best season was his second with Indiana, in 2010-11, when he averaged 11 points and 5.2 rebounds over 70 games.
