The Pistons have signed rookie Darrun Hilliard, who was drafted in the second round, No. 38 overall.
It's a three-year deal, but only the first season is fully guaranteed. The second year is partially guaranteed. The third year is a team option.
Hilliard is a 6-foot-6 shooting guard out of Villanova and is expected to compete for playing time at shooting guard and small forward.
