Isaiah Thomas rehabbing from surprise wrist surgery

Celtics guard Isaiah Thomas had surgery four weeks ago to remove a cyst in his left hand that was caused by a procedure he underwent last summer.

Thomas said that surgeons also “cleaned out a few things” in the wrist during the recent procedure. He said he hopes to be 100 percent in 2-4 weeks.

Thomas, who is a lefthanded shooter, alluded to the surgery Saturday night while taking part in an impromptu Q&A session with fans on Twitter.
