Free-agent guard Austin Rivers has reached agreement on a two-year, $6.4 million contract to re-sign with the Los Angeles Clippers, according to league sources.
The second year of the contract is a player option. Rivers, who turns 23 on Aug. 1, averaged 7.1 points and 1.7 assists in 41 games for the Clippers last season.
