The Chicago Bulls announced Tuesday the signing of 2015 first round draft pick Bobby Portis. Chicago selected Portis with the 22st overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft.
Portis a 6-11, 242-pound forward out of the University of Arkansas, joins the Bulls after wrapping up a two-year collegiate career with the Razorbacks.
A native of Little Rock, Ark., Portis appeared in 70 games (all starts) where he averaged 15.0 ppg, 7.9 rpg, 1.49 bpg, 1.3 apg and 1.06 spg in 28.5 mpg. He also shot .526 from the field, .365 from behind the arc and .737 from the line.
Portis will wear No. 5.
