In an effort to add some interior depth, the Orlando Magic reached an agreement with free agent big man Jason Smith on Tuesday.
The deal will be for one season and, according to USA Today Sports, will be worth $4.5 million. Since the Magic will sign Smith to only a one-year contract, the team will preserve cap space for free agency next summer.
