Former Suns, Hornets player Jackson Vroman dies at home

Jackson Vroman was found dead in a pool at his Los Angeles County residence on Monday morning. He was 34.

The cause of death was not immediately available. A county spokesperson said an autopsy was scheduled for later in the week.

Vroman was a second-round NBA Draft selection by the Chicago Bulls. He went on to play two NBA seasons with Phoenix and the New Orleans/Oklahoma City franchise displaced by the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. He continued to play professionally overseas until 2014.
