The Denver Nuggets have named Pete D’Alessandro their Senior Vice President of Business and Team Operations, President and Governor Josh Kroenke announced Friday.
D’Alessandro returns to Denver after spending the past two seasons as the General Manager of the Sacramento Kings. Prior to his time with Sacramento, he spent three seasons in the Denver Nuggets front office. He spent two years (2010-12) as the Advisor to the Executive VP of Basketball Operations and one season (2012-13) as the Nuggets Vice President of Basketball Operations.
Before arriving in Denver, D’Alessando worked for the Golden State Warriors from 2004 to 2008 as Director of Basketball Operations and Assistant General Manager in his final two seasons with the team.
