It took less than an hour for Kentucky coach John Calipari to make a statement about his interest in the vacant head-coaching job in New Orleans Tuesday.
"Even though Anthony (Davis) and Tyreke (Evans) are in NOLA, I have no interest in the Pelicans or any other job. I have a great job and I'm happy at UK," the coach tweeted.
There have been exploratory conversations between Calipari and the Pelicans but it doesn't appear New Orleans would be willing to meet his financial demands to leave Kentucky.
