J.J. Barea and Al-Farouq Aminu recorded their first career postseason double-doubles to go with 31 points from Monta Ellis, and Dallas avoided elimination with a 121-109 victory over the Rockets on Sunday night.
Barea had 17 points and 13 assists, while Aminu finished with 16 points and 12 rebounds.
The Rockets missed 17 consecutive shots in a critical stretch, opening the door for Dallas to extend the series.
James Harden scored 24 points, and Dwight Howard had 13 for Houston.
