Scott Lauer, radio play-by-play announcer for the Charlotte Hornets, was told Tuesday he will not return next season.
Lauer confirmed he was let go in a meeting Tuesday afternoon.
“I’m very appreciative of 11 seasons broadcasting the Hornets,” Lauer said during a telephone interview. “Growing up, if you told me I’d get 11 years in the NBA, I’d be all-in on that."
