After missing nine games due to a concussion, Heat forward Justin Hamilton is on the verge of returning to the lineup.
Hamilton completed his first practice Tuesday since sustaining the injury Dec. 17 against the Utah Jazz. He is expected to be cleared to play in Thursday's game against the Portland Trailblazers.
Hamilton was averaging 3.1 points and 2.3 rebounds before the injury slowed his development.
