Celtics agree to trade Rajon Rondo to Mavericks

The Boston Celtics traded All-Star Rajon Rondo to the Dallas Mavericks in a deal involving four other players and two draft picks, according to league sources.

Rondo will go to Dallas with Dwight Powell in exchange for Mavericks Brandan Wright, Jae Crowder, Jameer Nelson, a 2015 first-round draft pick and a future second-rounder, sources told Yahoo.

Rondo has made it clear to the Mavericks that he's willing to sign a contract extension this summer, league sources said.

In a related move, the Celtics have waived center Vitor Faverani.
