Andre Drummond's daily contact with Detroit Pistons president/coach Stan Van Gundy sometimes touches on the Greg Monroe situation, but proximity didn't translate to contact between the two big men themselves this week.
That doesn't mean Drummond's emphasis on Monroe's return has relented any, and he said Wednesday that his teammate "needs to come home."
Monroe and the Pistons have been at an impasse all month as the restricted free agent ponders whether to re-sign with the team for which he has played the first four years of his NBA career, and under what terms.
