Notre Dame forward Austin Burgett has been released from the hospital after undergoing a procedure to correct an irregular heartbeat.
Burgett was released from the hospital Thursday and should begin rehabilitation work in the middle of next week.
Burgett, who is averaging 3.5 points and 2.4 rebounds a game, has missed the last two games after experiencing an abnormally fast heartbeat against Florida State on Jan. 21.
