The Knicks picked up the fourth-year option on Iman Shumpert’s deal. The shooting guard is now under contract through the 2014-15 season.
Shumpert is on his rookie deal, so exercising the $2.6 million option for next season was a formality.
Shumpert, 6-foot-5 guard, holds career averages of 8.3 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.3 assists over 26.0 minutes in 104 games (80 starts) with the Knicks.
