The Utah Jazz are going to bring back one of their veteran free agents. Veteran point guard Jamaal Tinsley has agreed to re-sign with the Jazz, it's been confirmed to the Deseret News.
Terms of the agreement are unavailable and the deal is pending Tinsley passing a physical after he flies into Southern California to rejoin the Jazz prior to Friday's preseason-ending game in Anaheim.
The Jazz have been exploring options at the point guard position ever since rookie starter Trey Burke suffered a fractured right index finger nearly two weeks ago.
Tinsley reignited his NBA career with the Jazz after the organization signed him out of the D-League at the beginning of the 2011-12 season. The 35-year-old played with Utah, backing up Devin Harris and Mo Williams with Earl Watson, for two years.
